ZZ-DokuStreifen
The "ZZ" documentation strip consists for four separable elements:
- Identification strips for penetration seal marking on both sides
- Two idnetification labels
- Specs card with activation code for use of the penetration seal ID in the documentation portal. The specs card can at the same time be used as conformity confirmation
- For clear identification, all elements carry the penetration seal ID. This ID is a unique pre-defined number.

- Generation of conformity confirmations

Field of application
MPA Braunschweig has confirmed that use of the "ZZ-DokuStreifen" documentation strip together with all "ZZ" fire protection systems is in conformity with the type approval. "ZZ-DokuStreifen" documentation strips are available for all "ZZ"-systems. Sealing systems by other producers than "ZZ" can be documented as well using neutral DocuStrips which can be purchased directly from DocuPort AG.Fitting the identification strip
pass the identification strip through the member opening so thatit rests against the inside surface of the member opening. The distance from media (cables, pipes, etc.) passed through the opening must be 15 mm as a minimum.
The "ZZ-DokuStreifen" documentation strip must not be cut apart for installation. Both ends of the strip must project from the penetration seal at both ends so that the penetration seal ID is exposed and that it is clearly legible for photographic documentation at least on one side.
Complete the identification plates and fix them next to the penetration seal. The penetration seal data used for entry in the documentation portal will be based on the specs card.
Documentation
Access to the documentation data bank is provided by ZAPP-ZIMMERMANN's cooperation partner DocuPort AG.
Users do not have to install any software to be able to use the documentation portal. What is required, however, is a PC with internet access and a valid user account with DocuPort AG who will provide you with the neccessary user names and passwords.
When the ID of a documentation strip has been activated once, penetration seal data can be stored in the documentation portal, be called up and analysed as required.
The user contract is running for 24 months, the number of IDs and sets of data that can be administered as well as the functional range of the portal depend on the type user account selected. For further details please consult the DocuPort price list.
Data collection
Seal documentation data is collected on site by the contractor installing the seals and uploaded on the portal (including digital photos of the seals).
The activation code required to activate the penetration seal ID used is shown on the specs card. It can be used once the protection has been removed.
